February has been an exciting month for us as we've been hard at work developing some long-awaited new features to enhance your experience with your favorite smart VPN router.
Without further ado, let's dive into what's new!
1. Use other WireGuard VPNs with Encrouter
One common request we've received from our users is the ability to use other VPNs on Encrouter. We're thrilled to announce that now you can do exactly that – integrate other VPN providers with your Encrouter smart VPN router, as long as they're also using WireGuard.
Encrouter still comes with 12 months of free unlimited access to our own privacy-focused VPN service; however, if you wish, you can now install other providers' VPN services and use them at the same time – or separately – from our service.
So, whether you want to add a VPN that offers endpoints in countries not currently supported by Encrouter, or you prefer to continue using an existing VPN subscription with your Encrouter router, this new feature offers you the flexibility to do so. Simply set up different device groups to fully take advantage of switching between VPN providers as you see fit!
2. Guest network & WiFi isolation
Another highly anticipated feature has finally arrived – the guest network! With this new addition, you can now create a dedicated network specifically for guests, ensuring that your main network remains secure and private.
The guest network functions as an isolated network, ensuring that others cannot access any of your internal networks containing sensitive data. This means you can now easily set up separate networks for your friends, family or other people when they come to visit. You can easily create a guest network through Encrouter app by creating a group other than Default and assigning it to Guest network in Network settings.

3. General Bug Fixes
We've also dedicated time to address various bugs and issues reported by you, our users. These fixes will contribute to a smoother and more seamless experience with your Encrouter.
